Dr Francoise MAUGé
Senior researcher at CNRS
Dr. Francoise Maugé is a senior scientist at the National Centre for Scientific Reserch (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, CNRS, France) and a member of the national committee of CNRS for coordination chemistry, catalysis, interfaces and processes. She was the scientific director of the research centre of ENSICAEN from 2011-2014. Dr. Maugé has been working in the field of heterogeneous catalysis for almost 25 years. Her research focuses on not only the fundamental aspects of heterogeneous catalysis but also their industrial applications. Dr. Maugé is a world-leading expert in infrared spectroscopy for catalyst. Her research interests include refining, clean fuel production from fossil fuels (hydrotreatment, hydrodrocracking), and from biomass (hydrodeoxygenation, Fischer Tropsch). She has published more than 110 papers in peered reviewed journals, given more than 40 key notes and lectures and 140 presentations in conferences, and supervised 23 PhD students. She has been scientific supervisors of contracts with IFPen, Total, Petrobras, Grace Davison, Sinopec, IM.
